Group Classes

GROUP YOGA CLASSES

The classes are mixed levels, appropriate for the beginner as well as the advanced student and each student is encouraged to go at their own pace and listen to the wisdom of their own bodies as an internal guidance.

Each class can be different, depending upon the students that attend and the energy that is present in the room.

The classes contain the classic components of a hatha yoga class:

  • Asanas: (postures) to develop musculo-skeletal strength & flexibility, increasing blood flow while reducing muscle tension. Detoxify and tone internal organs.
  • Pranayama: (breathing techniques) to oxygenate red blood cells, purify and balance the nervous system, reducing anxiety, stress and fatigue.
  • Meditation: to improve mental alertness, increasing concentration and focus, calms and clears the mind.
  • Relaxation: to calm to entire system increasing the efficiency of immune system.
  • Chanting and toning: to deepen the connection to the subtle vibration of the energy body.

 
Individual attention is given to each student so that full support, encouragement and modifications can be made when necessary.
