Yoga Therapy Sessions

YOGA THERAPY SESSIONS

The beauty of yoga is that it can be executed by anybody, in any condition.

When yoga is broken down into its most basic and pure form --- breath, conscious movement and stillness, anyone can deeply benefit from it's many profound effects on your body and mind.

Whether your bed-ridden with a life threatening illness, are experiencing musculo-skeletal or neurological challenges, feeling anxious and depressed or have simple aches and pains; yoga can be effectively adapted to meet your distinctive needs.

With careful assessment of your condition, together we will begin to bring yoga into your healing protocol, integrated with your allopathic treatment for a true holistic approach to health.

These sessions can be offered in your home, in a bed or wheel chair or even your hospital bed.

Robyn has worked with patients three days post-operative in their hospital beds after cardiac and lung transplant surgery at Columbia Presbyterian hospital. The sessions were based on breath with very gentle movement that were highly effective tools on their road to recovery.
